It’s already known that Naughty Dog is working on another game in addition to The Last of Us Remastered and Uncharted 4: A Thief‘s End, and thanks to an update to the Linkedin profile of former Lead Character Artist Michael Knowland, which has been recently updated, we learn that said game is indeed an “AAA” experience.
While nothing precise is known about the new game, but (perhaps unsurprisingly) looks like Naughty Dog is going to continue on the path of Sony’s AAA factory even after Uncharted.
Interestingly, we also learn that Knowland was working on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End as well, on the protagonist Nathan Drake. Unfortunately he still didn’t reveal where he’s going to work next.
Luckily the game has been left in good hands, and the studio’s Co-President Christophe Balestra and Evan Wells clarified that departures of specific employees aren’t affecting Naughty Dog’s performance, even considering that quite a few have been hired in recent months.
