OneChanbara is making its debut on the PlayStation 4 in the form of “OneChanbara Z2: Chaos”.
This new game will feature 60 frames-per-second and full HD for the first time in the series, according to Famitsu. The magazine also confirms the “usual four” as playable characters, and they can be switched on the fly during battle.
In terms of gameplay mechanics, OneChanbara Z2: Chaos introduces “Cross Merge Combination” to allow for a simultaneous attack between multiple characters. The title also includes a new “QTK (Quick Time Skill)” that uses the PlayStation 4’s touchpad to pull off a special attack against boss enemies.
Onechanbara Z2: Chaos launches in Japan this October.
Following up on its initial announcement last week, Famitsu has another update on Onechanbara Z2: Chaos in its latest issue. The game is hitting Japan on October 30, the magazine confirms. No additional details have leaked out of Famitsu thus far.
