[EA] Need for Speed "Reboot" oficialmente anunciado

Electronic Arts has officially announced the next Need for Speed. Developed by Ghost Games, the “full reboot” of the racing game series is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Origin this fall.

The game will feature “deep customization, authentic urban car culture, a nocturnal open world, and an immersive narrative that pulls you through the game,” according to EA. It promises “an experience that’s grounded in authentic car culture by diving into the rich world of past, present and emergent trends of the urban car scene.”

Electronic Arts collaborated with Speedhunters, its car culture community, throughout the game’s research and development.

“Need for Speed is one of the most iconic names in gaming, and we’re returning it to greatness in this reboot,” said executive producer Marcus Nilsson in a press release.
“Pulling on our 20 years of history, and then taking a year out from releasing a game, we are making the game we’ve always wanted to. We’re listening to the fans and delivering an experience that will capture their imagination and unleash their passion for cars and speed.”

A 30-second teaser trailer was released, captured from in-game footage. The first full trailer will debut at EA’s E3 press conference on June 15.

Need for Speed's upcoming PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One reboot will require an online connection to play, EA has said.

The publisher broke the news on Twitter last night in response to a fan's question on the subject, but reassured that "the benefits are nice" for requiring the restriction.

Previous Need for Speed games have featured connected online worlds for you and friends to race and inhabit together - although they have not required you to stay connected.

fiz a burrada de comprar o child of light na steam, agora tenho uma conta na origin só por conta desta bomba. Espero que pelo menos o jogo atenda a minhas expectativas, dizem que é bão.
